For Art Sake Studio offers 9 weeks of Summer Art Camp | SCHEDULE & ONLINE REGISTRATION goes LIVE THIS WEEK! Limited spaces!

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN | Registration links & weekly themes below | Each camp day consists of a 2 hr in studio art lesson focusing on drawing & painting followed by outdoor patio lunch and mixed media projects outdoor daily | Mixed media projects explore other mediums & reflect weekly themes.
DAILY CAMP SCHEDULE
9:30 11:30a Drawing & Painting | Fine Art lesson | Indoor studio | distancing in place as required/needed | Friends/Siblings may request pods
11:30 - 12 noon Lunch | Bring a sack lunch daily | please NO NUTS allowed in camp to protect those with nut allergies
12 - 1:30p Mixed Media Projects | Explore weekly themes of mixed media, crafting and DIY projects on our outdoor patio!

2024 CAMP- MIXED MEDIA WEEKLY THEMES
*themes/projects subject to change as enrollment takes shape theme | ALL project will be age and skill appropriate
Week 1: THE MONOCHROMATIC ARTIST: 6/17, 6/19, 6/21 Get ready to explore color theory this week! Projects focus on a mixed media understanding of color through printmaking and the understanding of negative space and value ✎⚪️
Week 2: THE SPATIAL ARTIST: 6/24, 6/26, 6/28 Understanding shapes, forms &/or objects in a measured way - this week we will focus on composition, proportion and scale using watercolor and collage concepts ⚖️ ✏️
Week 3: THE VALUED ARTIST: 7/1, 7/3 7/5 This week we connect our creativity through values. Projects explore the translation of light and shadow through graphite , charcoal and acrylic foundations. 💡✍🏼
Week 4: THE SCULPTURE ARTIST: 7/8, 7/10, 7/12 This week we are going to another dimension and to create items & projects in a 3D form through a variety of handbuilding and ceramic projects 🖐🏽🪴
Week 5: THE MULTI DIMENSIONAL ARTIST: 7/15, 7/17, 7/219 Let’s talk shape! Join us this week as we focus on shape personalized mosaic and stained glass concepts 🌈 ☀️
Week 6: THE LINEAR ARTIST: 7/22, 7/24, 7/26 This week all of our projects involves the theories of perspective and creating a unique point of view 📦 🛣
Week 7: THE ELEMENTAL ARTIST: 7/29, 7/31, 8/2 Let’s look into visual diversity ! This week projects will center around acrylic, paint pens and mixed media projects using color and variety
Week 8: THE BALANCED ARTIST: 8/5, 8/7, 8/9 Dive deeper into form and variations of height, width and depth using clay and multidimensional concepts.📐
Week 9: THE SUSTAINABLE ARTIST : 8/12, 8/14, 8/16 Let’s take a look at texture by using sustainable and recycled mediums and supplies.♻️
Students must ALWAYS come to camp PREPARED with ALL necessary supplies for Painting of camp including:
Full/Clean Brush Set (No loaner brushes available)
Brush cleaning solvent ( sold separately at studio/Brush cleaning done at HOME)
Paper towels MANDATORY ( please come prepared or a roll will be provided for $4.50/roll)
Snacks/Sack/packed Lunch/Water/beverage ( snacks & beverages for purchase avaialable at studio)
Hand Sanitizer / baby wipes encouraged.
PLEASE ALWAYS stay home if you feel unwell!
Miscellaneous Camper information:
Brush Set required for all campers & available for purchase ( Full Set required 2 + weeks of camp/ Mini Set available for 1 week campers only)
Brush Cleaning is students responsibility & is done at home ( Brush solvent is needed & available for purchase in studio )
Paper towels required each class
Please pack a sack lunch daily for your camper | Beverages & Snacks available for purchase |
Please pick up campers promptly at 1:30p
Camp Make up Policy: SIngle Missed camp days may ONLY be made up with 24 hour advance notice. Make up days are on a space available basis, by appointment only. Make up days are not guaranteed and may be converted into regular class make ups if space allows. No refunds
Camp Cancellation: Camp tuition is Non-refundable and may be ONLY exchanged for “Studio Credit” Camp Credit will ONLY be granted with 14 day NOTICE of camp date and will be only credited to another week of camp IF space allows. Alternatively, camp day credits can be made up in our regular class day offerings. No refunds.
